Hola!
It feels like I haven’t posted in a month. Sorry, but this has been one of the busiest weeks ever. I hope you all enjoyed Halloween, it was fantastic for me! But between moving, work, and trying to have a little fun, it has been crazy!
Right now, I am counting down the days until Thanksgiving. I can’t wait!
Today, I made another tapa. Trust me, this is the easiest tapa ever. One of the things that I like about fall are some of the fall fruits and vegetables, such as pears.
This warm and hearty tapa bursts with flavor and is perfect for the fall season.
Ingredients for 4 pieces:
- 1 pear slices
- blue cheese
- 4 slices of ciabatta or baguette
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
In a medium pan, add the butter and melt on medium heat. Add the sliced pears and the sugar. Cook it for a minute, flip it, and then cook it for another minute, until it starts to turn brown.
Add the slices of pear on top of the bread then add the blue cheese. Broil for about 40 seconds or until the blue cheese starts to melt.
Ready to eat, serve warm!
Bon profit!
