Holaaa!
Summer is almost here. Hot and humid days here on the eastern shore of Maryland, and it’s not even July! I guess I can’t complain about the weather, better than clouds and rain.
A few days ago, I had this smoothie, and it was so good. Refreshing, cold, and healthy. I simply loved it. I didn’t have it for breakfast, but for a snack. The fresh fruit is getting better, and I like to buy a lot of it when I can. I had some fruit that was getting a little old and I decided I could combine it into a smoothie. It could have tasted bad, but it came out very delicious. So don’t throw out that old fruit!
Makes 2 pint-sized glasses.
Ingredients:
– 1 banana
– 1 pear (I kept the skin on, just remove the core)
– 1 nectarine (I kept the skin on)
– 1/2 cup blueberries
– 1/2 cup rasberries
– 2 big strawberries
– 2-3 ice cubes
– 1/2 cup water
Blend it up! Ready to serve.
Bon profit!
Happy summer. I moved from Maryland to New Hampshire last year and how I miss the MD weather. The smoothie looks great.
Very enticing. Just in for the summer!
